About

Dog Friendly: Must Meet

Cat Friendly:  Must Meet

Considered a good luck charm throughout Korean history, the Sapsali is viewed as a cherished canine treasure and has a warm-hearted approach to life. Nine month old Dan-ah, a Sapsali mix, recently arrived via the Passage to Freedom Program and now has her paws firmly planted at Little Shelter. Her unusual name translates to sweet, beautiful, simple, and elegant. While all those attributes are true, she’s still a puppy, so add spirited, playful, and fun-loving to the list as well! Eager to make friends, she is outgoing, approachable, and affectionate. Sapsalis are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and their ability to form strong bonds, making them exceptional companions. If you’d like to make this young lady a part of your family, stop by to meet Dan-ah today!
**Fun fact: Sapsalis are known as “ghost hunters” or “lion dogs” for their shaggy appearance and ability to dispel evil spirits**

*Dan-ah is not yet fully grown or housebroken*
