Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter nestled on six wooded acres in Huntington dedicated to saving abandoned dogs and cats and placing them into loving forever homes since 1927. Age, physical condition, and socialization issues are never criteria for rescuing a dog or cat whose life is in jeopardy.
Our shelter is a magical place, with a rich history that we're very proud of. But our buildings are 95 years old. With leaks and disrepair, it is hard to heat and cool them, and the dog kennels are all but crumbling. We have dealt with things the best we can for a long time but now we need to drastically improve our facility, to continue to properly care for the many dogs and cats we plan to rescue and re-home for the future.
We are ready to give our animals the shelter they deserve. We hope you can join us on this life-saving mission.
